I (43) lived with a girl for 5 years until last september when we split over a property deal. I bought the house and moved in - to be nearer to my 10 year old son. She (35) moved back in with her pensioner mum. We are ridiculously compatible in just about every way - particularly sexually but also same sense of humour and outlook, in fact, on many occasions we read the others minds.
So, we split up and are initially at war with each other. Then we realise we still "like" each other so we meet occasionally for weekend mountain bike rides and to walk our dogs together in the park. We email each other each day and regularly text each other too.
She works approximately 5 minutes from where i live.
We had been out a couple of times prior to last Friday and as it was her birthday on the saturday I invited her around for lunch on the friday (she came and we had fun) and then to a comedy night we used to watch all the time when together.

Let me say this. To find someone you can have so much in common with is not easy; but for some reason, ya'll just have an impasse, so the question for you to consider is this; can you overlook the stuff you don't get along with to be with her or do you need more time apart? this is where the bottom line ends.

ok first of all u should really put a question. but from what i read (which was sort of confusing) it sounds like u still love her and she still kinda loves you. just get married already!
