I don't really believe in "meant to be", too fatalistic for my tastes. However, though it may be too late, you never know what might happen in the future with her. If you really like her, you'll wish her happiness, and who knows if that'll be with you someday. You can still be good friends with her, that way you can keep contact in case, plus you'll have gained a good friend.
I hear ya about the lost opportunity. Very few things are worse than regret. All we can do is learn and hope not to do it again.

Who knows if it will ever happen. What you should do, though, is let her know you realized your mistake and just let her know...it will make her day. And, if it wasn't meant to be for the other guy, she might think twice about you. Don't do it with that expectation, but putting that good energy out there might mean something even better could come your way! Who wouldn't want to hear THAT?

Don't sweat it. We all "mess up" sometimes. The best thing to do at this point is to not look in the past, but look ahead to your future. Who likes looking back at their mistakes?
And PLZ [for the record lol] don't flirt with taken people, and hopefully the taken ones won't flirt with the singles.

This goes to show how - although we are programmed into thinking that being selfish is the way to go, as we grow within ourselves, we realize that without someone to share our lives with - it's meaningless.

it really depends actually.... maybe you should tell her how you feel and ask her if she would give you another chance... but if she really likes this other guy and she's really into him... you should move on cause she wouldn't give someone that she really cares about up for someone thats too into themselves... find out who you really are and show her that you really care about her (actions speak louder than words)
