My boyfriend is the sweetest guy I have ever met, and we are so happy together. But when we kiss (and I know this sounds silly), more often than not he tenses up his lips and tongue. It doesn't gross me out or anything, but I think kissing him would be a lot nicer if he relaxed his mouth. The problem is, he doesn't realize he's doing it!
I've tried showing him, but he doesn't seem to pick up on what I mean (and I don't blame him). And I don't know if I should just tell him, because I wonder if would make things awkward or embarass him. Is there a nice way to let him know?

My fiance had the same problem and I told him.. things didn't get awkward.. but sometimes he would kiss me wierd just to be funny

It isn't going to embarass him if its jus in front of you

to kind of help him relax a little better, put your hand on the side of his face and softly move it.. he should relax

my man told me the reason he was so tense was because he wasnt sure he was doing it right

If it bothers you, then you should tell him. You have to be open in a relationship. After you tell him, maybe you could ask if he has any suggestions for you? It may help you both have a much more enjoyable experience.
