Is there anyone going on that ship with those dates? I'm going with a group and thought it would be fun to make some friends before sailing.

Hey there travel101... if you want to meet people before hand go to the link I have provided below. It is a link to cruisecritic and that is the absolute best website for people who want to research a cruise, maybe plan their next one, and best of all meet cruisers who will be taking the same trip as you.

Good luck on your cruise, and I hope you enjoy Carnival Cruise lines. I like cruising with them and it is was made me love to cruise because I took my first cruise with them, but I have since found Royal Caribbean and love it even more. Some people say RCI is more expensive and sometimes it is, but it seems like I find the two to be comparable, maybe even Royal Caribbean a little cheaper. Have fun on your cruise and Bon Voyage!

I am not, but a great website to meet up with people is cruisecritic.com. I am personally a part of that website and I cannot say a bad thing about it. If you want to meet people who are going on the same cruise as you, go to boards, roll calls, and select your ship. They will have a thread going with that date more than likely. Plus, this site is great to find out the do's and dont's of the ports you are visiting.

Hope you have a great time. My wife and I went on a Carnival cruise about 4 years ago. It was horrible. Have heard since then lots of bad things about Carnival. But if you are planning on staying drunk.......getting some sun with a bunch of people then you probably won't notice the other things. So should be a great time for you.

And when you get back, get on the site and leave a valid review, making sure that you can site specific problems/compliments not just "it was horrible" or it was "great".

Relax, enjoy, and SMILE, YOU'RE ON VACATION!
