Which color carpet matches with black sofas?

You could really do almost any color but I would stick with a neutral beige/tan/grey so that you could add color with accessories.

I would get beige or tan because that's what I prefer, but any color matches black.

A neutral beige would be best. You can add color with curtains and pillows, artwork, accessories, etc..
