why did it take god so long to give the quran to mohammed couldnt god have given it to him all at once not in bits and pieces?

This is the FACT.
muhammad are not Phophet from Allah/God of Abraham, because in the Quran there are so many hate and discrimination again Christians/Jews/Catholics.
Also God of Abraham will not allow man to have more than 1 wife. even at that time many people have many wife but still it is not an excuse that God of Abraham will allow child molester, sex maniac, rapist become a good man by allowing man to have 4 wife that are stated in Quran.
In most muslim country until now there are no freedom of religion, in all Christians/Jews/Catholics country from long time ago there are freedom of religion that so there are no discrimination against other beleiver. Not like muslim that are full of hate with other religion as per Quran.
Do you ever hear any Christians/Jews/Catholics that do suicide bomb / hi jack plane, kill many innocent people in the name of GOD, That are not gonna be happen because We beleive in Peace, Love and Forgiveness. But you going to hear many many more suicide bomb/hijack/jihadist/mujahidin from Islam because that what the Quran told them to do. They are not crazy/bad/retarded people. They are just too naive beleive in the wrong religion.

Quran is based on events too. old events that had happened before Islam and those events that occured during Muhammad(pbuh)s life.

also it takes time for people to understand Quran so you can't just read it in a few days and understand it. also Muhammad told the verses of Quran to many people over time.

The Qur’aan was brought down by Jibreel (Gabriel) to Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) and over a period of 23 years it was revealed in portions and piecemeal as circumstances warranted.

Allah states: { And truly this ( the Qur’aan) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'aalamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists ) which the trustworthy Ruh (Gabriel) has brought down }[Qur’aan 26: 192-193.]

And He said: { And those who disbelieved say: ‘Why is not the Qur’aan revealed to him all at once?’. Thus (it is sent down in parts ) that We may strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you gradually, in stages }(Qur’aan 25:32)

The Prophet peace be upon him would memorize the verses he received and recite them to the companions and ordered them to write them down immediately. Whatever those expert scribes and appointed recorders wrote was checked by the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) himself. The Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) had no formal schooling and he is referred to by Allah as being ummee or illiterate. This adds to the miraculous nature of the Qur’aan and the Prophet’s (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) own statements which could not have been uttered by one such as he without divine intervention.

there are two ways that we believe God gave Quran to Mohammad.
First, God gave Quran all at once by "vahy", which all of the Quran sat on the heart of Mohammad.
Another time Quran was given to Mohammad by the time. It means by the time that Mohammad was telling to people about Islam, different pieces of Quran was given to Mohammad to tell people about them at the right time.
If Quran was given to Mohammad all at once, so what about people who want to learn about Islam? of course they would be confused when they receive too much knowledge about something at once.
