Well, one pound is equal to 16 oz, which is the same as two cups and 12 fl oz is the same as 1.5 cups because one cup is 8 ounces and half is 4 ounces...8 and 4 is 12.

OK it depends on how big the berries are. 12 oz is 1 cup plus 1/2 cup. I keep a kitchen scale and a small measuring cup that has teaspoons and tablespoons on it. Got it at bed bath and beyond. So much easier then a spoon!

8 oz = 1 cup

Can't tell you how many strawberries is 1 lb., but if you think of a 1 lb. brick of butter, try to estimate how many strawberries would fit squished into that size. But I would guess about 2 cups
