My hair is pretty straight, although its kinda wavy in the back. I normally use hair cream then scrunch my hair but that doesnt really last. Does anyone know any good tips on how to get my straight hair curly? Thanks!

I have the same exact problem!
my hair is like half wavy half straight and i hate it. i try to scrunch my hair with gel and it doesn't work either. You could try getting a WAVY perm. not a curly one, they have waby ones too, and they usually look really good and last a while (plus you can always straighten it if you get sick of it, and if you get a curly one it would be much harder.) that way, when you scrunch it, it will last longer and everything. another thing i do, is after i get out of the shower i french braid my hair in two side french braids. sleep with them in, and take them out in the morning and put moose, gel, hairspray, or whatever you want to keep the hold in. It makes yuor hair much wavier. and it lasts longer.

those are the only things i could think of. I have the same problem, and I guess sometimes we just have to deal with it.=/
hope I helped a little! ♥

You could get a perm. If you want something more temporary, you could use a curling iron or you could scrunch and twist it when it's wet and then sleep on it in a messy bun. Just make sure you don't actually put a hair binder in, that will make it kink and break. It's a little harder to control, but it works pretty well.

Just a thought but you might wanna try a heat roller curler set. You can get them pretty cheap and I know people who use them and they work really well. If you don't want to risk damage to your hair just be sure to get a set that's ceramic. Ceramic is heat safe and won't burn or fry your hair but it will get the job done. Also maybe try a spray that's supposed to help curl the hair. Any true salon or hair person should be able to give you a good brand and tell you how to use it etc. Good luck...

curl activating cream, such as catwalk curl booster, will be a great deal of healp. after you apply this, put on the diffusing attatchment to your blow dryer. turn the blow dryer on low speed and high heat. push your hair up towards you head with the diffuser, almost like scrunching it. do this until your hair is dry.

if that doesnt work, you could always use a curling iron or hot rollers.

Try a perm or maybe a different type of shampoo that adds shine and volume. Then you won't have dead straight hair. Use it often and just changes the shampoo. Also, you could try a curling iron.
