My Rottweiler is a male named Tinkerbell. We put pink ribbons on the dog and treat it like a female. Now the dog tries to have sexual relationship with our cat Snowy. Now Tinkerbell meows and purrs next to snowy, and snowy just gets annoyed, what should I do?

Oh well. If snowy really doesn't like it he will let tinkerbell know in there own way. But if she scratches your dog dont yell at the cat because the cat is just trying to set boundries but just make sure she doesn't scratch his eyes. And tinkerbells sexual problems may not be sexual at all he could be just trying to show his dominance and snowy will probably try to show his dominance. I love rotti's. my neighbor has one and she is the biggest baby. One day her and my choc. lab took a walk to the lake (we live on Lake Champlain in VT) and the result-puppies! I got to keep one i named him Charlie. Hes the clumsiest dog ever! And about your pussying up your dog. I htink thats fine the best way to socialize a dog is lots of hands on experience (especially with rottis who have a bad name even thoguh there not bad). Just dont dress him up and bring him to any dog parks or anything where there r other dogs cause he might get beat up. ha ha ha.

Hey I am Tinkerbell, the feminine male rottweiler, just to let you know, I love my pink bows and perfumed dogspray. Snowy is my pal, and snowy is a great catch, can we help that we are in love. how can anyone tell us who to love, we fall for who we fall for, and we can't control it.

Thanks
Tinky

First off, stop pampering him. Dogs are pack animals and actions not customary to a pack animal will always cause confusion. He needs to run, play, and have his prey drive stimulated. Try throwing balls or play toys in the yard and having him fetch or if you have a friend with a dog have them bring him over to play. Also, cats are solitary animals not pack animals so your cat is probably getting annoyed with him. Try getting your dog involved in things you do such as laying down while you watch tv, sleeping next to your bed, eating when you eat, and going for walks with you. This way he will become part of your pack rather than trying to make a pack of his own. I would also recommend you neuter him right away. He probably has some built up sexual tension which could lead into aggression later on. If this happens you only have two options; get him neutered or release it for him.

OK, I've finally stopped laughing! And OK, you've named your male rottie Tinkerbell (who am I to judge)

So are you serious? Let's not even get into the logistics of a rottie trying to mount a cat.

I have to agree with the comments above. It's not about sex, its about dominance. Beware that it doesn't turn to aggression.

And for God's sake stop dressing your rottie like a teacup. Its humiliating.

uh...I"m not sure if this is a serious question but any dog male or female mounting anything is a sign of dominance. Has nothing to do w/ sex, masculinity, or sexual orientation.

Why... is you male do g named Tinkerbell?

you should try renaming the dog "Kitty" so he will turn into a cat then he and Snowy can be happy together.

for one, stop dressing your dog, (as a male or female) and don't treat it like a "girl" by this, I assume your coddling, while some dogs can handle clothes and being carried around, and what not, bigger dogs like rottweiler must be treated like dogs or they will develop behavior problems, such as the one you describe. Take off the clothes and take the dog out to meet other dogs, because if a dog doesn't get a chance to act like a dog, and never socializes with other dogs, it can begin to develop behavior problems.

you should keep them seperate or dont take this the wrong way
but get a teddy bear that he might be attracted to and when he gets bored of your cat and he likes the teddy get rid of the teddy
and he wil like neither of them
