My sofa is dark choclate leather, my armchairs are wing chairs wide strips of burgundy, avocado and greenish beige stripes. The curtains are avocado and off beige stripes as well...

What ever color you choose, just make sure you paint the ceiling a lighter shade. It gives the illusion of higher ceilings.
Sage green is very popular and I think it would go well. It would give more dimension to the beige and compliment the avocado.

If the room is small - definitely beige, this will give the impression of a bigger space and match with te beige strips on your furniture and curtains .

With alot of light you can use a darker color, but with smaller spaces you may want a lighter color.... Go with the greenish beige or the avacado for a happy medium, nice colors.
