There are several car rental companies with shops in the arrival lounge at the Nadi Airport. Prices are fairly reasonable.

Car rental prices in Fiji are fairly controlled, insofar as there isn't a lot of competition. If you want decent cars, with good back up service , go with one of the main brands like Hertz , Thrifty or Avis etc.
You should be able to find some good rates on this website - ( It looks like US citizens need to click a different link )

Taxi cab, it is an Island, no sense in driving a car when there are buses and cabs.
