If your W2 shows state taxes withheld you should file a state return. You may be entitled to a refund.

Did you have income, did you pay state taxes: YOU NEED TO FILE A STATE TAX RETURN. If both are no, check with your state tax office, I don't think you will have to file in that case.

To my knowledge, you have to file if you make over a certain amount of money. If you had to file Federal taxes, then most likely you have to file State.

well...if you had a job you can file for state tax return.
you have to check out your states laws on income requirements to see if you are required to file

Genrally if you have withholding you should file regardless.
There are some states w/o taxes at all

If you had any income, you need to file. Doesnt mean you owe anything but you still need to file.

did you work in 2006? if yes then, YES you need to file
