How do I tell my boyfriend he should clean them, without sounding like I'm nagging?

Clean his nails for him. He probably will not be offened, if you do it for him. Guys like girls touching them. Even if it is making them clean. Eventually, he may get the hint that that is the way you like his nails and he will do it himself.

Listen, there is no such thing as a perfect man. If your boyfriend is good to you, don't lose him over something so simple. Give him a manicure. You could make a comment " Wow, sweetie your nails are dirty! That's why I am here to help you keep them clean." That will make him conscious of his nails. If it is a big deal, than give him a manicure once a week. Make it a sensual thing....it might give your relationship extra spice.

Take it from a male. Tell him if he wants to touch you with those hands then they need some cleaning, nails included. It's not a matter of nagging its just how it should be.

Why worry about sounding like a nag?Just tell him that they are filthy and that mature adults take pride in their appearance.Is he a mechanic or just that he doesn't care.They say you can tell what type of person they are by their hands and their shoes.....

just tell him that dirty nails can cause infection--if you get my drift and that soaking them in bleach for about 30 seconds after he cleans under them will have great results- just make sure he rinses the bleach off very well with cold water.

Tell him you would like to give him a manicure. When you finish tell him how good his hands look now. Maybe he will get the hint. Good Luck

How about, "hon, your nails are really dirty. You need to clean them" If he's your boyfriend, he won't get mad. He may thank you.

buy some stuff and give it to him one day when he comes home from work. and say "o honey i noticed your nails are kinda dirty so i bought you this cleaning kit"

Gross. Just say "you need to cut/clean your fingernails, honey". Be direct. Men hate that indirect approach to anything.
