If an animal/person has excess limbs, which are then removed, what happens with the limbs once they're removed

This is an interesting question. I was born with 6 toes on one foot and they cut one off, and I always wondered if a bum took it out of the dumpster and BBQ'd it.......... but that was in the 60s. I'm pretty sure that NOW all "disposed of" appendages are either put in the crematorium, or frozen and sold to 3rd world countries for re-use. Why? Did you or an animal of yours have excess limbs? I'm sure it's within your own legal right to know what happened to your OWN limbs, even though I don't know what they did with that 6th toe of mine, but that was 35 years ago and laws were not the same.

Just depends. Working in the medical field you learn that any part of a person belongs to them so there for if they shaved your head they would have to give you your hair or at least save it.. They have to do this because of religions that don't believe in cremating and stuff like that.. But, after you sign on the dotted line that you don't care where it goes it is burned into ashes..

I believe the extra limbs are packaged and sealed as they can become a hazard, and they're shipped off to the crematorium to be burned and disregarded of. You can't just throw the limbs away as it could cause diseases, etc. Hope this answered your curiosity!

Well let's see hhmmmmmmmmmm....... I guess donated and used in countries that limbs are lost. Not sure though
