Myrrh can help with any mouth issues. You can get myrrh at health food stores in a small bottle with a dropper to apply.

If the tooth hurts because of a cavity that needs filling you can get temporary filling at the drugstore to do yourself until you can get to the dentist.

you could try clove oil, that will numb it, i use it on cold sores and it works better than orajel, and longer. also ibuprofen helps with the swelling and relieves pain. the only cure though is the dentist.

a home remedy may work for awhile...try rinseing with listerine to numb the pain. motrin works well.
if you don't see a dentist, it will come back,sometimes worse.

sorry to hear those arnt helping. that means the tooth decay is a little more along than you want. you will need to see a dentist immediatly.
