If my limit is $300.00 and I used 288.00 how do I only have $1.00 available?? Shouldn't it be 12.00 ??? what am i missing

Thats what I dont get my bill is not due and they wont let me over the limit!! Ive never in my life had a card that didnt let you over the limit

Got rid of capital one years ago

they gave me (i have marginal 670 range credit) 8k with zero interest for 12 months balance transfers.
I HAVE NO JOB! Granted, I am married but I did not put him on the credit application at all!

if you do have a job , it should be easy for you to get one from them.
my prior interest rate with capitial one was 22%

Most likely their finance charge and interest for the month. Don't use it again until you pay at least $50 on it, and always stay at least 10% from the limit.
With Capital One, if you go over the limit, even by just one penny, they'll hit you with a $35 over the limit fee!

Capital One is notorious for problems like that. They're probably saving room for some of the interest they plan on charging you. It might be a good idea for you to call them and let them know about the error.

capital one will not let you go over the limit. they will always be like that until they see taht you can maintain the bill every month then they will raise it. it is very hard to get a really high spending limit
