Thanks for rewriting the question.

It really depends on the wheel size you're using. Whats the width? 17' is just the diameter.

Rather than have a bunch of guesses here on Yahoo, go to a tire shop and explain your whole project. They will have recommendations. Then comes the time for trial and error. With a drop you have less room to work with, yet your new rims are at least two inches taller than stock. My guess is that they will be at least an inch wider. Some of the low applications have to go super low profile and down into 30's sometimes to get any wheel travel.

Check out this website : http://www.tirerack.com

The site will give you more info on the offsets, bolt pattern, recommended tire sizes and more. Just remember that a 2 inch drop will put more stress on your suspension components (CVs, Axles, etc..).

TireRack recommends 205/45/17.

Check out http://www.tires.com they have a wheel and tire estimator for your vehicle, and you can see what they'll look like before you buy if your car is in their list.

Why would you want to drive a car where the tires and rims cost more than the car itself?????????????????
