6 ounces sliced pastrami
2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
4 ounces beer
3 slices onion, rings intact
1 tablespoon oil
Salt and pepper
2 slices rye bread or thick crusty brown bread
Preheat a grill. Season onions with salt and pepper and brush with oil. In a small saucepan combine beer and mustard and bring to a boil. Add pastrami and simmer for 3 minutes. Grill onions on both sides and toast bread on a cooler part of the grill. When all ingredients are heated, prepare sandwich.

rye bread for sure and mustard cold the very best way to enjoy this meat is to make a Rubin Sandwich. Steam the meat and use a rye roll split the roll put you steamed meat in the bread then put sauerkraut on top, once you have had this you won't want to share it with anyone else. What time are we eating?

I usually purchase the turkey variety of pastrami, but this is good too. I pair my pastrami with swiss cheese, dijon mustard, good dill slices, saurkraut and tomato.

U lucky devil! I've only got cheese and pickle! I had pastrami before with loads of other sandwich meats, pesto and rocket salad, possibly horseradish too!

thees is all i got
2 pkg. (4 oz.) pastrami
4 green onions, diced
2/3 c. horseradish sauce
1/3 c. mayonnaise
Mix well. Serve on crackers.
