1) Before you go on to sing, talk to yourself. Talk to those around you. CALM your nerves, even if that means you have to act stupid. What is the part that makes you most nervous? The lights? The people? What?

2) Put your friends in the front row and ONLY concentrate on them. DO NOT look at the crowd. Until you're at peace with large crowds, just concentrate on just a few people you know.

3) You know your stuff! Smile! If you mess up, you're going to be the only one who knows if you don't show it. Cheer up--you're going to do great! We've ALL been there!

those 2 songs are too enormous to drag off. choose some thing you're delicate with and does no longer freak out approximately. Sing as whilst you're singing to a chum. image that chum and "see: that chum. it is going to help you to get via it. try karaoke first, so which you comprehend no count in case you will get chilly ft or be waiting to sing. then you certainly can sing or be an objective industry member. objective industry member is a needed place!

It's just something that comes to you in time with a lot, a lot of practice. You should get drama class, it really helps. You go up in front of the class every day. :)
It really gets you to be more confident and more outgoing. I used to be so shy that even performing in a talent show wasn't an option, but I ended up in a play! :)

Pracitce in front of a mirror or infront of friends and family. And when you get on stage just remember that you can sing, and that people aren't there to make fun of you they are there to watch you have fun. ALSO THIS REALLY HELPS ME... I JUST LOOK OVER THE CROUDS HEADS LIKE LOOK AT THE BACK WALL. NO ONE CAN TELL WHAT YOUR LOOKING AT AND THIS WAY YOU WONT HAVE TO SEE ALOT OF PEOPLE!! good luck!

Practice in front of people and in a mirror. Maybe take voice lessons if you are really serious about it. Relax before you perform and visualize yourself singing perfectly. Good luck!

When you care more about the fact that you are making yourself try then caring about whether or not you did well...that's when you get the courage. High school people are mean, generally. Ignore them. What matters most is proving it to yourself. You ARE worth it. Also, don't look at the crowd. Look above them or close your eyes. That helps.

Pretend that the crowd is your friends and family. Don't worry about them judgeing you or anything because remember your already a stronger person then they are because your the one standing up for all to see and hear, just stay calm and have fun with it, Enjoy yourself.
