I was in the middle of uploading IE7 when my computer went into hibernation because the electrical plug wasn't completely connected. It had already removed IE6, so I had no browser at all. I used another computer to download the program to a disk and now I need to install it.

(1) Use Firefox. Honestly, there's no need to hassle with an Internet Explorer 7 install. I bet it'd be very difficult to fix a corrupted install - overall a waste of time.

Download the executable to a flash drive or some other portable medium.

(2) If you are insistent on IE7 -

Install the plugin to validate the IE7 install. If you are ever asked to download an executable with a name like "installer" or whatever, copy that to a USB flash drive or some other portable medium.

(3) Wait until Automatic updates pops up again (it should eventually). It might prompt you to reinstall IE7.

uploading?, you mean installing IE7, Plus you don't need to remove ie6 before installing ie7, if your pc was shut down in the middle of your installation i would recommend that you do a system restore to the point where you didn't remove ie6, me i dont like ie7, i use Mozilla Firefox, but if you want to still run ie7, just run the installation disk/file you was using to upgrade..
