Register in a obedience class. Don't only attend the class, but practice every day with you puppy. It will help him grow into a well behaved dog and will teach you how to take control of the situation and not let the pup become the Alpha dog.

Pugs are energetic little dogs that demand a lot of exercise. Start there and then work into some inducive training. That means you find a toy that he likes and use it to manipulate him into the commands and once he does it (weather you help him or not) reward him and make a big deal by praising him. He will associate the action with a reward and eventually start doing the commands on his own.

Imagine being at home all day every day and night, with a few trips to the outside world-the yard, and maybe some car rides. Dogs need an active life-walks, trips to the park, shopping, cafes, playtime, meeting new people and dogs, and training and fun. she sounds like she needs an exciting life, so get her into a walking routine. Give her at least a 30 minute walk before her meals, and make her meals a fun training session. Hide some kibble around in different spots and have her find them with her nose. Just make things fun! Get creative!

you have to let him know that he will not get a treat unless he calmes down and listens. you may have to physically make him do the tricks by pushing down on him to sit , lay etc. hold him there do not give him the treat right away until he shows that he can stay. You have to stay with it though..try to take time out every day to work with him. after awhile he will look foreword to this time together.do not be mean just firm with him.they watch your hands so when you want him to do a certain trick make sure you have a hand signal for it and he will watch and get it down pat. they are a very intelligent breed of dog. it will not take long. my pug knows how to sit,lay.stay.roll over and if i say kitchen he will go there until i tell him to come out.

first of all love the dog and spend time with him. Then exercise is the most important. If possible set a schedule with him. Have toys for him to play with. Allow him time to spend by himself where he is not always entertained by someone. Make sure that you spend ten minutes a day working on training.
