Well it depends on the type of cancer, for instance, leukaemia incidence is higher in children. Breast cancer peaks at around the age of the menopause but then declines post-menopause because of the hormonal changes. Generally though the older you are, the higher the chance of suffering from cancer, this is because the older you are, the more genetic mutations exist in your body which could potentially cause the development of malignant cancers e.g. take stomach cancer, caused by certain irritants, the longer you live, the more your body has been exposed to these irritants and thw higher the risk of cancer

I would say between the ages of 33 and 59. This is the ages which include a change of life. People hormones change during this years. Any age if other illness' already brought your immune system down. If you inherit cancer it usually follows the age that your ancestors got sick with it.

Men over 70 nearly all get Cancer of the Prostate. Nothing is often done about it 'cos they usually die of Heart trouble before the big C gets them.

you can develop cancer at any time in your life. This past summer a friends 13 yr old son died from cancer. He was their only child.

Both infants and old men get cancer, there are no ways to tell when or if it may happen.It is more likely what you eat, genetics, etc.
