Put the london broil in the crock pot with one envelope of onion soup mix, and one can of cream of mushroom soup and let cook for about 8 hours. The meat will be tender and it will make it's own gravy. This is a family favorite!

Broil Flank Steak

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 pounds London broil
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can diced tomatoes
1 cup water

Mix together flour, black pepper, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Rub on steak, coating thoroughly. Place steak in crockpot.

Pour mushroom soup, diced tomatoes and water over top of steak.

Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 8 hours.

Place sliced potatoes & onions in bottom of crockpot. Sprinkle both sides of meat w/ a little salt & fresh ground pepper, then place on top of veggies. Add 1 pkg Lipton onion soup, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 soupcan of water & 1 stick of butter. Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours. Mushrooms can be added about an hour before serving if you'd like......It's wonderful!!

Pepper and Provolone Italian Beef Sandwhiches

6 lb rump roast
2 pkgs Au Jus Gravy Mix
2 pkgs Italian Dressing Mix
2 cans beef broth
1 green pepper sliced
1 onion quartered

Put all ingredients in a crock pot, cook on high for 5 hours.
Serve it sliced on sub buns with the onions and peppers and a slice
of provolone cheese.

Easy Steak Crockpot

2 1/2 lb round steak
1 can oz cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1/4 c water

Cut steak into 5 to 6 serving size pieces. Place in crock-pot. Add
dry onion soup mix, water, and condensed mushroom soup. Cover and
cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Excellent when served with mashed
potatoes.

Flank Steak in Mushroom Sauce
Yield: 4 Servings

1 to 1 1/2 lbs flank steak
1/4 c Sauternes wine
1 tb soy sauce
1 clove garlic; minced
10 1/2 oz can beef broth
1 tb catsup
1 ts prepared mustard
1 tb instant minced onion
2 tb cornstarch
2 tb water
1/4 lb fresh mushrooms; sliced

Place steak in slow-cooking pot. Combine sauterne, soy sauce,
garlic, broth, catsup, mustard, and onion; pour over steak. Cover
and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Dissolve cornstarch in water;
stir into pot. Add mushrooms. Turn control to high; cover and cook
on high 20 to 30 minutes or until mushrooms are done.


STUFFED FLANK STEAK

1 to 1 1/2 lb flank steak, scored on both sides
3/4 cup bread crumbs
3 to 4 oz mushrooms, sliced thinly
2 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp olive oil

1 (3/4 oz.) package brown gravy mix
1/2 cup dry red wine
2 Tbsp mined green onions
1/2 cup currant jelly (optional)

Combine bread crumbs, mushrooms, butter and Parmesan. Spread over
flank steak. Roll up like jelly roll, Fasten with skewers or
string. Pour olive oil into slow-cooker. Roll steak in oil,
coating all sides.

Prepare gravy mix according to package directions. Pour gravy,
wine and onions over meat. Cover and cook on low for 8 - 9 hours.
Remove meat from pot; slice. Add jelly to sauce and stir until
dissolved. Serve over meat. Makes 4 - 5 servings.
