Have you been diagnosed with GERD? That can cause pain in the same area.

This sounds like a gallbladder problem. Call your family physician and make an appointment to see them. They will most likely order a gallbladder ultrasound and blood work. If you have any shortness of breath or chest pain you should go to your local ER ASAP. If it is determined to be your gallbladder the Drs. will tell you then what should occur. Good luck

sounds like wind then, it's quite common to get trapped wind there (if you're prone to it), and the fact that the pain goes away awhile after a burp more or less confirms it. You need to find out why though you're getting so much trapped wind, so maybe a check at docs might be able to help.

It could be a pulled muscle. It could be more serious too. You should see your doctor to get an x-ray. It could be some trapped gas but not likely. The gas will cause more pain because it presses against your sore spot.

This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Try out some home remedies. You can also look for information in the web that give you home remedies. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html
