If you were offered 10 million dollars to place the number 666 on your hand or forehead would you take it?

The number would be so tiny no one would notice it.

Yes or No?

Don't make it complicated...just a straight deal, yes or no?

Doesn't it make you sad? How many said they would?

Yes.

BUT - I would like to point out that the number 666 is not the 'number of the beast'. This is what it says in Revelation, But in 2005 the earliest known copy of the Book of Revelation (a 1,700-year-old papyrus) was translated by Professor David Parker and his team at the University of Birmingham. This clearly states the number to be 616 and not 666.

This is not the first time the number 616 has been proposed - in 1883 Friedrich Engels also calculated that the number should be 616 in his book On Religion.

There are also theologians claiming that the beast is a reference to either Nero or Caligula.

I would but what difference would it make? Did not god create science, math and the numerical system? So how does the #6 co-incide with the devil or evil? If this is an evil number then the 6th day of creation must've been an evil day too.

Wake up cause there were no numbers in the original bible in the first place.

Yes. The number 666 doesn't mean anything, so I wouldn't even care if it were visible. In fact, I would prefer it visible, because then I could weed out the superstitious people from the sane ones.

I will do it for free. 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666 666. Have I invited enough wrath? Will your god get me?

Aren't you tired of living in fear?

yes!

BTW the actual 'number of the beast' being 666 is a mis-translation (like many other bible stories). The actual number (If memory serves me right) is 686. I'd have either or both of them on me though, no problem there.

Actually I would accept much less money if we are getting into some kind of auction here...

I am not an atheist, but I would do that. I don't believe that 666 signifies anything; it's just a triple-digit number.

Yes, of course I would do it.

Any sane person would.

10 million dollars can do a lot more good than any evil caused by a three digit tattoo.

For 10 million dollars I would tatoo it in bright red across my forehead and laugh all the way to the bank.

BTW the zipcodes in Topeka, KS are 666XX

Of course. That's 10 million dollars to walk around saying your superstitions are meaningless ... I might have done it for free.
