There is this boy at my school that i have fancied since grade 7, now were both in grade 9! He is such a close mate and thats all he sees me as. He told me that he used to fancy me in year eight but he thought that i would reject him so he didnt ask me. The other day his best mate told me that he fancied me but, i know he fancies this other girl coz he is always telling me about her. I get so jelous of her because i fanc this boy soo much, but if he wants to go out with her than thats up to him and im happy for him. I don't no if i should say anything to him as he already nos i love him and he told me that he isnt sure if he likes me a lil bit, but i think he is just saying that to stop me feeling bad lol x what do you think about what i should do? i dont wanna ask him out unless i no he likes me back.... im really confused xxx

remind him of what he said in year 8. he might fancy the other girl, but he might fancy you better. try telling him how you feel and ask him how he feels about you. I would try to keep love out of it for now, because it scares people off. he must think a lot of you to talk to his mate about you and to say he fancies you.just be happy and have fun together and see how things go from there. xxx

I say this to guys when they as what my chat-up line is; here it comes ... walk up to him and say "hi" it is the best way to start a conversation. You might find you don't fancy him at all, or a whole variety of other variations on this theme. Get talking to him, be casual, be friends first

The best approach is a forward approach. Talk to him privately. Admit your feelings. If he doesn't feel the same way, then move on.

do the same to him talk about another boy tell him you are going to get a boyfriend see how he reacts and go from there
