okay, so heres the deal.
my boyfriend of one year recently asked me if i wanted to swing with him..{his neighbor was the one to ask if we wanted to swing}..
he also mentioned his neighbor thinks im really hot & im his type of girl.
i thought swinging meant like swinging on a swing
but apperantly not!!!
is there a sexual way to define "swinging"???
if so, what exactly does it mean???.
i dont want to agree to something with out knowing what im getting my self into.....
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

k..judging by all the precious answers, I figure you've gotten a pretty good idea of what swinging entails..Just wanted to leave you a little advice...It takes a certain freaky kinda person to be attracted to swinging..if its not something you are not comfortable with..do not be forced into it. However, I want you to note that it is a sign that your b/f is interested in this kinda lifestyle, and probably wants to start exploring other things sexually. This might pose as a problem for you, if you can't match him..I don't want him looking elsewhere, even though he should be respectful of your decision, I don't think it is something that he can keep repressed if he is really interested. Just think about it..its not a bad thing actually...once u have some ground rules established..it can be quite fun..e.g. make it clear to him that u will not tolerate him starting a relationship outside of ur meeting etc. Happy decision making..remember..go with your heart..

It means to swap lovers, and of course it's a sexual term, but it's also a relational term too. Think about it like double dating or an open relationship, but only do this if you don't mind giving up your boyfriend to another girl for a while, or you think you might like the other guy.

Swinging is when two couples swap eachothers partners and have sex with no strings attached.
In other words, your boyfriends neighbour wants to be able to have sex with you, eventhough you are in a relationship and have the consent of your boyfriend to do so!
