Use lots of conditioner. After you wash your hair DO NOT RUB IT WITH A TOWEL this only causes more frizz, just squeeze all of the water out of it that you can. Even if you use conditioner, use a spray leave in conditioner while your hair is still wet. don't use a brush on it! comb the conditioner through with a wide tooth comb. don't blow dry unless you have a diffuser (really cheap at walmart). if you use other hair products use them while your hair is wet and if there's still frizz afterward add a little more (just enough to smooth down all the frizzies) Hope this helps!

I love Marc Anthony's Strictly Curls product line. The curl defining shampoo and frizz sealing conditioner repairs dry and frizzy hair, and repels humidity to define shiny, soft curls. There's also an assortment of styling products that match.
The product might be a little more pricier than some of the other suggestions, but go ahead and try some of the cheaper ones, then try Marc Anthony....you'll see a big difference in quality.

I was watching someone with the problem you mention. She started with Panteen Pro V shampoo and conditioner. She used a straightener which is like a tiny iron for the hair. She looks great, hair straight as can be imagined!

Mousse. Wash hair while wet put on golfball size amount on the outside of your hair, bend over and do under side. Run fingers thru it. The outside of your hair should be curled but not frizzy, but the inside will give you lift.

Try a perm. Perms seem to control curly hair much better than conditioners do.
