i really hate dentist work and cavitys dont hurt me, but i feel laughing gas and the shot wont be enuff to settle me down.

when i got my root canal done they just numbed my mouth and i was fine..... good luck!!!

Oh, my goodness. Don't even think about a root canal without a really great dentist in charge.... and yes, absolutely take the anesthetics and Novocaine. It will totally numb your mouth. You will feel the pressure of the dentist's drill but you will feel absolutely no pain. Your dentist will know when you are ready for him to begin work. I have had two root canals.... my dentist made certain I could not feel a thing before he began work. Truly... I was as fearful as you, but I was in no pain whatsoever. You will be just fine.... trust the man/woman in charge. They are the professionals and do not want to hurt you in any way.

Root canal is just a deep filling. Not worth the extra cost to be put to sleep. Good dentist or Endodontist should be able to do a straight forward root canal in 45min to an hour. Relax and have fun when you go to the Dentist. Everything else fails just bite him! ;)

Yes let them use anesthetics and novicane trust me. The root canal pain could be quite intense.

root canals are really not that bad. in many ways, no worse than having a filling put in. simple numbing should be enough...if not have the endodontist sedate you a little bit.

NO never trust the dentists they may be profenials but they still make mistakes
