depends on how "baby" it is.....if its over 6 weeks, then about 3 times a day, if its a newborn, then every 2 hours (day and night)

How young a baby.....6 weeks or younger....over 6-8 weeks? If the pup is too young to be weaned, under 6 weeks, then you need to get some puppy formula, and a doll bottle, and feed every two hours for 24 hours straight. You should actually call a vet for suggestions, if you've never done any of this before. They can guide you along, especially should any problems arise.
If the puppy is older than six weeks, Mix some canned food with a bit od dry, or just canned dog food, 3 times a day until the puppy is a good 8-10 weeks old. then wean from the canned as you add more dry food, and go to once in the morning and once at dinner. Try not to feed past 6 p.m., so you will be less likely to have puppy accidents over night.
Put him in his box or cage to train to potty, following each feeding, until he is old enough to go outside.

Dont take any advice from a person who hasn't seen your dog. At his vet check ups ask the vet and depending if the dog is under weight, over weight, just right... the vet will tell u how much and how frequently to feed him.her. Also if it has any health problems it may need a special diet so the vet will tell u this. Hope this helps. Or u could weigh your dog and chech on some dog food bags and it will tell you exactly what the vet will- how much to feed depending on your dogs weight. But I would feel better if my dog was eating the vets orders not a dog food bag.

l usually kept the food down all day long and pick it up before seven at night. And the bag that your dog food comes in will tell you how much and how often.Every one does it different and you might try seeing what the bag say. L fed really good food and my puppy didn't have to go as often and therefore that is the reason l left my dog food out.

2 to 3 times a day depending on breed. Read the back of the puppy food bag or go to purina.com for a food amount calculator. Do your best not to overfeed the dog which can cause serious problems in growth for some breeds (especially large breeds which are apt to hip displasia).

I think that a puppy's bowl should be filled about three times a day or if you have a big breed dog, you should always try to keep the food dish full at all times. In either respect, puppy's are growing animals and need their owners care and affection. Hope that this helps. Take care.

how much of a baby. if it has just been weaned it still needs to eat every 4 hours or so . If it is without it's mom or really small it definately needs to b treated like an infant and given milk at least every 4 hours.
If it is weaned, make sure he has dry food mixed with canned and that he has milk for a few months and plenty of water
good luck
