I have been trying to eat with chopsticks, so far so good but I think I am holding them wrong and I wondered if anyone had some tips on how to hold the chopsticks, different techniques for different foods, and any suggestions to help me become a pro chopstick user..lol I just thought it would be fun to learn a new skill from a different culture, any tips are appreciated.

First, do you know how to hold a pencil and pen? If the answer is "yes", then you're already 50% of the way there! While holding chopstick A like a pencil/pen, place chopstick B BETWEEN your middle and ring finger supported with the tip of your little finger if need be. Move chopstick A like a pencil/pen to grab your food and with practice, you WILL be able to eat almost any food stuff out there! Except ice cream. You need a spoon for that.

Keep the lower chopstick resting on your thumb, this one will never move...while holding the second against the first and moving it with your index finger

It took me a while to learn how to also, but I finally read the back of a chopstick box in the store when I got bored...lol
