have my puppy neutered?? he is almost 4 mths now..

I did mine at 4 months but you can do it up to 6 months after that there is more of a problem of marking terrioty.

my vet said small dogs at 4 months, and bigger dogs at 6 months.......bigger female dogs go into heat later than small dogs so it is safe to wait until they are 6, 7, 8 months old, as long as it is done before their first heat....i would say male dogs, 4-6 months old.
