Need to change the payment date from first of month, to the 20th of the month. Will I have a problem trying to get this done? Thanks, SEMINOLECOUNTRY

Some will and some won't. I have had varied experience with it. But there is no harm in asking. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I change these for customers on quite a regular basis and the only thing I really have to consider is whether a statement has already been printed etc. Like if you request your date to be changed to the 20th and a statement was sent out on the 10th and todays date is the 15th (for example) then if i changed your date today it would cause your account to move forward one whole month and you'd receive another statement. This doesn't cause too much of a problem though.

Make sure if it's changed you get confirmation in writing. God forbid a direct debit is returned because it has been taken at the wrong time of the month. If they've informed you that they've changed your date and there's complications later on...you always have that proof.

p.s. Not saying this is the same for every company! Just the one I work for ;-)

It is not hard at all. Just call the credit Card Company and tell them you need to change the due date, they will be happy to work with you. >

Most credit card companies will change it. Remember they want your money. I have called and asked and it was immediately granted. Just call them.

Just call the company and request the new date. If you're a good customer, they'll be very cooperative.
