When you get your lip pierced, does it scab? whats supposed to happen to your lip?

I'll bet a hole in the lip is NOT supposed to happen. That's usually a result of an accident.

i have my "monroe" done, the top part of your lip (like the marilyn monroe mole) and firstly it will not scab. you will be a lil tender for a few days and will most likely find dried blood around the outside of the peircing. You will be a bit swollen for the first day or so which is why they use a bigger stud than you would normally put in. You're peircer should give you sea salt which you'll need to add to warm water and bathe the pericing in a few times a day. Try not to play with it as well as this will cause infection and you'll end up getting gunky!! which is not a good look especially on your face.
The best thing about it is if you dont like it you can take it out...

i don't think it's supposed to scab. on the outside i would guess it would be like getting your ear pierced where it may bleed just a bit, then dry up. on the inside of your lip it definitely won't scab, should be like getting your tongue pierced. it will probably swell so munch on some ice. also, rinse your mouth with mouthwash, and kind of dribble it on the outside of your lip a few times a day to try to decrease your chance of getting an infection. then, you should be good.

Your lip is supposed to remain the way God (nature) made it. Please act like a Beautiful Young Lady and don't desicrate your body! You dont see Famous actresses or Beautiful Models disspoiling their bodies. You will not always be this age, but you will forever have a scar !!! Think about your future and the people you might want in your future. You will be judged in this life for everything you do in this life. THINK HARD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
