You don't. The trademark is there to prevent people from stealing it-as a working photographer I want you to pay for my work. After all, I'm the one who schlepped a ton of gear to the location, got the shot, processed it, printed it, uploaded it and generally made it nice for you to enjoy. Shutterstock pays almost nothing to the photographer - compare the cost there to Getty Images or Corbis.

Just for pictures-it seems you believe that doing this is easy. So go buy a camera ($1000/with decent lenses), a bag ($200), a tripod ($150-500 depending), some cards ($75/each), a computer ($400-2500, depending) a good printer ($500 average), paper, ink and oh, yeah, how about the TIME it took to get good enough to get your images on a stock site?? Priceless. All that is money, dear, and you're whining about the pennies Shutterstock asks for??

Get off your butt and do it yourself then.

Of course not. Do you really think anyone would take the time to upload all those nice pictures if they were just giving them away for free? If you don’t like the watermark, then take your own pictures.

Maybe your boss does not like paying you money for the work you do, but he still has to do it. It is the legal and morally correct thing to do. For you to get those pictures without paying would be stealing.

You would be a lot better off to just pay the small amount that they or istock or fotolia charge. Besides, photogs like me that spend a lot of time just trying to get photos listed (getting on Shutterstock is no easy task) really don't appreciate it when people steal our work.

Photoshop and Jeannie, you act like you were forced to sell out. When I, on rare occasion impress myself and submit a picture on Google images.I hope to see it on someone's site, so I can tell my kids to look, the whole world can see that. You need to adjust your thinking. People like U die early

Taking them without pay is copyright infringement, and is the same as stealing. As well as a federal crime.
