Ok i dont get this ... He flirts with you , talks with you and is very open with you about EVERYTHING and makes you think that he likes you but come to find out he only sees you as a friend?

what is wrong with being just friends with a person? Just because a guy is open and feels like he can trust you doesn't mean he wants to date you. You should take the fact he confides in you as a complement

No offense taken but you need to understand that women do the same thing, I'm sure just about every guy around has heard "I just want to be friends" and this phrase can come when you've been dating you for months for some I think it's just a cop out and they just don't know how to be honest.

He may not know he was flirting with you, it may just be that he was being friendly. Here is a clue, when I guy tells you EVERYTHING, he considers you a close friend not a potential girlfriend. Stick with him and he may change his mind one day, after all, isn't it better to have him as a friend then not at all?

He was feeling you out, tring to see if you felt anything. Then because he didn't see any sign that you liked him he moved on.. That would be my guess.
OR
Maybe hes like me. I'm told that I'm a really bad flirt and that lots of people start to like me because they think I like them. But really I'm not interested in any kind of relationship with anyone...
