whats the differece in AKC, CKC, etc. in chihuahuas if there is a
differece whats the best?

Unless you're in Canada, CKC = Continental Kennel Club - If it walks, they'll register it - A favorite of Backyard Breeders and Puppy Mills.
AKC = American Kennel Club - You'll find more reputable breeders with AKC registered pups, but still beware of Backyard Breeders selling AKC registered pups. Just because a dog is registered AKC doesn't mean it's coming from a reputable breeder.
Do your research on breeders carefully and only buy from a reputable breeder that knows what they're doing!

The AKC (American Kennel Club) is the best pet register in America. I'm not too sure what CKC is (I live in Australia so don't know many US registries). Get your dog registered with the AKC. There arr two registries with the AKC: limited and main. Limited means you can't register any of the dogs offspring and main means you can. Limited is the one to go if you don't breed. There are many other registries but they are for identification purposes only. APR is American Pet Registry. It's not as good and a lot of un-reputable breeders who don't want to AKC register their dogs use it.

ask a Chihuahua rescue that question. There are many Chihuahuas for adoption. They know the breed and can answer your questions.
It is very important that you do your homework before you get any pet.
