The Scriptures quite plainly explain that the child named "Immanuel" in Isaiah's day served to represent Jesus Christ. While the name "Immanuel" literally means "With Us Is God", both the child in Isaiah's day and the child Jesus were distinct persons from Almighty God the Father.
Jehovah God is with true worshippers! The birth of Jesus (the Greater Immanuel) and the birth of Isaiah's "Immanuel" served to indicate that Jehovah was on the side of the true worshippers, and especially to encourage those who were paying attention to the births.

So how can it be possible that the SON be the Father as the scriptures plainly says; Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
