I am not a cat person. I spent $200 on an automatic litterbox, that the tray needs to empty. The house smells like cat pee and it is driving me mad. She left it unplugged for a week. She will not care for her cat. Am I wrong to get rid of kitty and end the fighting.

no your not wrong for getting rid of the cat. if she wants it she should tend to it. she cant care for it but so much if she is letting it suffer because she is to lazy to care for it.

Give her the ultamatim. Then if she doesn't clean it, she is essentially giving you permission to get rid of it.
