I thought that I had read recently that fluctuations in sugar levels in the body may affect hormones and attribute to anger. Does anyone know anything about this and if you do, can you shed some light on this subject. Please give me any online sources if you have any. Thank you very much.

sugar makes your blood sugar go sky rocketing and you get this rush, and if you don't have it, you get irritated just as you would anything..but, I would check and see if the person is diabetic, first, but, sugar makes people agitated, angry, hyper, because, the sugar goes into your bloodstream, and depending on the person, can do different things, and the anger part, sounds to me like diabetic...or something to do with your pancreas...good luck

Blood sugar levels can affect your mood and sense of well being. If it drops too low=tired and irratable. Too high=bouncing off the walls. Healthy body should regulate on it's own. If too much or too little insulin being produced in the body blood sugar levels will flucuate. Search" blood sugar levels+effects" and you'll get a ton of material to read.

I think sugar helps produce endorphins in the brain. This leads to one feeling happier and can get very, very angry when anyone or anything interferes with the happiness they are experiencing.
