In all Barbara Cartland's books the poor but noble hearted girl meets Him, the noble rich guy, with world experience but unhappy in a previous love affair. They are attracted towards each other in secret, then fall in love without having sex and finally in the end of the book they resolve problems and they kiss and him proposes her in marriage.Happily ever after they bla bla bla declare something about god and loving him is like loving god or something, one lucky girl if you ask me.

Do you believe this kind of relationship was only true in the past for our grandmothers or it can happen even today?

Regretfully perhaps, those sorts of relationships were never true, and especially in the past when women were generally regarded more as chattel by men than as equals. Romance novels are written as escapism for women who are probably not experiencing such bliss in their own marriages! Still, I don't want to sound totally cynical here, so let me say, that surely there are relationships which begin with romance and joy and then evolve into lasting warm and loving unions; I simply can not say how frequently such events actually do happen! You may be one of the lucky few, though, so be optimistic...

I would say it is as likely today as in the past. You need to be careful not to confuse fiction with real life. People who are 100% noble do not exist. We are quite a mix. Real life love is the kind that learns to live with the non-nobleness of one's partner.
The part about no sex before marriage happens constantly today. Check the stats.
One of the problems with today's marriages is that two many people have read too many of that kind of book, and they have unrealistic expectations. I would suggest you wait until your 80's to read that kind of stuff. A great escapism, without harming you at that point, LOL.

It depends on the strength of the middle class. The more freedom and captialism in a society, the more likely the Cinderella scenario is likely to occur. Since modern America has adopted a fascist economic system and taken significant steps to eliminate the middle class, I would guess that this story is becoming less likely.
