Jesus was Jewish. They were all Jewish, except Paul. So I guess you could say that Paul was the first Christian, but that wouldn't be 100% correct either, but close enough.

Jesus was a Jew and Christians are the ones who follow Christ. Some Jews did follow Jesus and that made them Christians, However the non Jews or Gentiles, were the ones that became Christians.

You are absolutely right. Jesus was given the title Christ for being annointed as the Messiah. So whoever follow his teachings are called Christians and Jesus did not follow his own teachings, he made his own teachings. Just like Buddha who is not a Buddhist.
When trying to ask intelligent question be sure you first fall into that category.

Christian is a name given to the followers of Jesus by non-believing Romans. Over the years it has become the name that believers prefer more than all others. It ties us to Christ and that's a good thing. Jesus wasn't around when the word was first used. He worshiped with the Jews, calling them to repentance. They hated His because He preached forgiveness. The Jews saw themselves as perfect, only sinner needed to repent.. So by birthright Jesus is a Jew by teaching He is God. I'll follow as He taught his disciples.. Jim

A Christian is a follower of Jesus. He was not a follower of Himself. He was and is GOD. Those who live by His teachings and accept His gift of salvation are Christians.

Exactly right. Jesus is the Christ. Christian means following His teachings. He had no need to follow himself, He is Himself. Was Marx a Marxist?

The Blessed Virgin Mary was the first Christian. Jesus can't be a Christian because Christian means "follower of Christ". He can't follow Himself...

The definition of Christian is "Christ like" or someone who follows Christ and his teaching. Christ was the only perfect human to walk the earth. He was also the Son of God and God himself. God does not need to worship himself so Christ would not have been called a Christian.
The first reference to the word Christian is in Acts 11:26
"And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch."

Christian means "one who follows Christ" And if Jesus is the Christ (messiah in Greek) then how can he follow yourself unless he is able to be in two places at once?

Jesus was a Jew. He could not be "Christ-like" as he IS the Christ. That is he is the pinnacle example for a Christian to follow. God cannot be "God-like" as he is.
Does this make sense?
