I have a jvc camcorder and how do I convert the MOD file to be able to burn it as a DVD?

My JVC camcorder came with Cyberlink PowerDirector and PowerProducer which allow you to edit and burn the videos. Otherwise, you can try just changing the extension to mpg and see if that'll get another program to recognize it.
