it mite be a bit hard for them at 6 weeks but if you have tried them on it and they are eating it then it shouldn't be a problem for them you shouldn't really mix water with it anyway the vet told me that.
when mine were pups i used to give them weetabix or scrambled egg on a morning til they were three month old it's sposed to be good for them plus they enjoy it.

Sounds like you have been doing a very good job.
If I were you I'd still add a little water to the food until they are 8-10 weeks to make sure that they don't get bloated after a meal.
Well done for all that hard work!!

they should be still nursing.
at 8 weeks, my puppy was eating dry food.
is the mother still there?
for 10 days, mix the dry with water, making it crunchier every day by adding less water. it'll help reduce the diarrhea problem by letting them get used to it gradually.

I would mix it with gravy, but not hot, as a moist meal is better than dry,and your dogs will love it, and gravy is fairly cheap,
Hope you like my answer, if you don't your pup's will {:o)
All the best
