I think it should be either one sylllable or more than two in order to sound right. Without haveing the last name or heritage its kinda hard. Jonathan Kendrick
Anthony Kendrick
Joshua Kendrick
Alexander Kendrick
Just remember a name carries thru life and you want it to be a good one.

I had this same problem. But I have found that there are very many way cute boy names. I suggest that if you are going to use Kendrick than don't pick anything that starts with a K. Without knowing your last name, it is hard to pick a first name. But Here are the ones that I thought of using for my son. I ended up using Kaden Jacob
Here are my favorites:
Ethan
Payton
Kendon

Browse the many baby name books on the market.
For goodness sake don't name the poor child after a US state or a make of car, or anything else obscure or spelt strangely. It's not cute, it's chav!
Lexus.... LMAO!
Kendrick sounds like a good first name to me. Then, when he's older he could choose to be Kedrick, Ken or Rick. All fine.

I'll share what I liked when I was naming my son back in October:
We chose Ian Andrew (andrew is after his father's middle name but I think Ian Kendrick sounds nice)
Evan
Isaiah
Josiah
Elisha (Okay so I like Hebrew names!)
Michael
Jacob
Zachary
Those were what we narrowed our 2 page list down to.

Since Kendrick is such a long name (but nice) you should use a short name .
Ian Kendrick...how does it sound to you?
I love the sound of it...congrats on the baby boy!

ryan- i think it goes well with Kendrick. Ryan Kendrick. If you chose a name someone suggests that would be quite cool- if in the future he asks "why am I called......." yahoo answers all the way.
