ok i used my digital camera to record a video for a project, but when i try to put it on the computer, the computer only finds the pictures that are on the camera. How do i get the video onto the computer?

Looks like your file folder is only looking at image files. Set it to "all files" so it can look for files ending in ".avi" or similar movie formats.

Are you sure it only shows the pictures? Some times it will display the video files but the file names will be the same as the picture files (example: PICTURE_001, PICTURE_002, etc.). If you're not sure, go to view->thumbnails. This will allow you to see what picture/video the file is. Also, if you mean camera as in video camera, MiniDV cameras will show pictures but not video if connected by USB. Hope this helps!

Digital camera not camcorder. Look in MY COMPUTER for the REMOVABLE DISK and then look for the AVI or MOV files and drag and drop them to your hard drive. Those are the movies.
