hmm you should use something with a silicone base before and after you blow dry your hair.. that way it gives you a smoother cuticle that will be easier to smooth on your own... but straightening out your hair starts with the shampoo and conditioner, make sure your using something moisturizing so the shaft of the hair becomes soft, do a cool rinse on your hair so the conditioner seals into your hair .. and then do the silicone product... you should definately use a ceramic iron it will seal the cuticle of the hair the ABSOLUTE best is T3... its very expensive, but a very good one is from baby bliss the heat produced from it i think its like 415 degrees fahrenheit.. good luck

Chi is good if you can actually afford it!!! lol....but if you go for the cheaper stuff then a Remington Wet 2 Straight works pretty well too. you can get a chi at you're local mall for about $100 and a wet 2 straight at like a wal mart for around $30-35.

Chi is by far the Best out there on the market!! Ask your hairstylist if you can buy one at the salon or go to a professional salon store and get one there. The good chi's are about $100, sometimes you can even get them with Free product!!!!

I highly recommend this product. Good Luck! <3

NOT THE CHI! ive tryed it and so have my friends. Get a flat iron with a temp. adjuster. They say the Paul Mitchel, The FHI, and the RUSK are the best. Also do some reaserch. Also use a heat protecter like Fantasia frizz buster. and good shampoo and conditioner that makes hair straight like paul mitchell, redkin, or pantene. And before you flat iron deep condition your hair. *you should try blow drying it also before you flat iron it*

i'm not sure about the brand but just make sure not to buy one of those cheap straighteners for like 20 bucks. the one i use right now was $80 i think and it works great and doesn't damage my hair! good luck finding a nice one!

Chi ! To be honest for a lower price try going to target and looking at their selection, the straightner that goes from wet to dry is also a good brand !

Wet 2 straight is the best.

well..... that VERY best kind are the wooden plated ones ... but they are very spendy so just try to find one that has even heating throughout so that it doesn't damage your hair
