At the end of the world there will be great fire.
2 Pet 3:7 But the present heavens and earth by His word are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
Isa 66:15 For behold, the LORD will come in fire And His chariots like the whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire.
Isa 66:16 For the LORD will execute judgment by fire And by His sword on all flesh, And those slain by the LORD will be many.
If you mean the rapture, some say the whole body and all will be taken up.
Some say that only the soul will be taken up, the body remains here.
The rapture is not the end of the world.

A good comparison would be Noah's day. Try reading Genesis 6:5 for starters. Then read Genesis 6:12,13,22 to see how Noah did? Then read Genesis 7:23 So from God's standpoint most of the earth of men were destroyed, and for what reason? See Mathew 24:36-42 Pay attention to 39 This was their sin.
Now to see what happens in our day? See Mathew 25:31-41
To confirm this read Revelation 20:14,15, To understand what fire does? Burn something up, all you have left is ashes, so the second death means that those who are destroyed will not get another chance. So its best to apply yourself now.
People are either for God's Kingdom or against it. See James 4:1-4

In about 5 billion years the Sun will run out of fuel. When this happens the core will collapse and the outer layer will be temporarily blown off and it will expand. This expansion will stop somewhere around the orbit of the Earth. Rather or not it engulfs the Earth, it will certainly be the end of the Earth as we know it.

Well, first a little boy is going to wonder where his parents went, and he'll be afraid that they were raptured without him.
So the police officer helping him will call around every church, asking if the rapture happened. Everyone is still there.
Then they call the Unitarian church. They get a recording. "You have reached the Unitarian/Universalist church. We are unable to come to the phone right now....what? Oh, my....what is that bright light? I..I'm floating up to the sky! Oh, it is so glorious!!!"
Then the little boy's parents show up.
Heh, heh. Heard that story on the Prarie Home Companion radio show.

Are you sure the world is going to end! And if you weren't waiting for the end, would you do some to change the current situation? Why would your god want to destroy you? could this be an unfounded truth to distact everyone? to make you think ,"gee, I cant change anything the world is going to end and im going to heaven" no use back to X-Box.

Do you mean spiritually of physically?
Spiritually, there are lots of different theories out there. Some believe we will just disappear ... we have no soul and it's just "lights out" when we die. Some believe that there is a heaven and hell, and depending on how good you were, you go to either place accordingly. Then, there are others, like myself, who believe that we go into a resting place and we wait to be reincarnated.
Physically, well I think we'll all die. Thus, yes, we will just disappear as a race.

The Earth will be swallowed by the Sun as it enters into a red giant phase in a few billion years and swells in size: anything that is still alive would be burnt to a cinder.
*looks one post up* Um, our sun cannot go supernova, it doesn't have enough mass for that kind of explosion. It's too small.

Seriously though, the world won't end for another 5 billion years when Earth is consumed by the Sun.

Some of us will go into a devachanic rest period to await the next round of evolution in this plane of existence, and the rest will move onto the next spiritual evolution. As far as the physical is concerned, yes, we will all vanish, but our souls will be moving to the next stage of things.
