It sounds like a good thing to me, he is saying that he loves you and plans on spending the rest of his life with you. Unless of course you don't like him, then it could be a bad thing.

It seems good to me, that he can see himself with you for long term. But if you have only dated a short while, it could mean trouble if you break up and he becomes a stalker.
