I was looking at some questions about Kirk Cameron and I was wondering how- WHY DO SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT KIRK CAMERON IS A NUTCASE JUST BECAUSE HE TURNED RELIGIOUS!? God, some people are so rude...just to let you know..Kirk Cameron has the right to turn religious if he wants to. I am a fellow Christian myself and I believe what he says is the truth. I know many of you will start cursing and saying bad stuff about me, but I believe that you have your own opinion and I will respect that.
OK...start cursing at me...just because i am a Christian..Go on...

There have been several tv stars who haved turned to God..there is nothing wrong with that...it is great! I wish more tv stars would turn to God and then there would not be so much crap on tv that you can't even let your children watch it!!

yes I noticed this too, you litterally have to over look it because God knows truth on the matter. Being christian is good, and man don't worry about people cursing you on the account of another christian or even just cursing you when you know your doing your best under Gods laws .., some people probably feel it is a threat because they want to live how they want to and not under GODS laws and not have another person tell then different Kirk is doing what is natural as a christian out of love and concern for people,,, and for them to understand understand God is God of all not just some and those who stray are still underGod yet they want to think differently and he's ministering which is true..look in revelations it says do not worry about things to come.

and it's only going to get worse Pray for the Armor of God and for the Lord to guide you every second of every minute of every hour and so forth ,,,prayer is so good it does help!!!! it does work and comforting to know we have it and can use it can keep us from evil

I like Kirk Cameron! The movies he was in "Left Behind" taught a great lesson as to what will happen. It might not be exactly like that, but he had a pretty good idea. He also has a really good website that turned me on to a good radio station that has a pastor who tells his sermon every evening, and he is really good. I have great respect for a man who turned to God and shares his faith with the world. He will be very blessed for all the souls he has won for Jesus.

The world hated Christ, so the world will hate you. Just don't try to live the Christian life in your own strength. It's impossible. You have to have the Holy Spirit empowering you. An apple tree doesn't produce fruit by struggle. An apple tree produces fruit because the life of the fruit is in the tree. Read the Bible. It's full of people just like us, with the same flaws, the same weaknesses, and the same God who saw them through and will see you through as well. God bless!

I don't think it is so much because Mr. Cameron is religious. After all, Thomas Paine was religious. I think it is more the exact branch of religion that Mr. Cameron chose.

You know what, Kirk Cameron is being BLESSED by the Lord through his ministry he has going with Ray Comfort- on way of the master, their website is awesome and they are out witnessing and many are being saved because of their wonderful ministry---they are not in it for themselves, but purely to please God and show others His wonderful gift of salvation and love- because they care about people, just like you and me, who come here and share the gospel.
I always remind myself of this verse, when I am being bashed on--and I am sure Kirk is reminded of it too--"Rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed" 1 Peter 4:13

You nasty dirty Christan. Ooh, I just hate you!

Seriously though, Kirk Cameron is a bit weird. Normal people don't rant on TV about bananas unless they're actually aquainted with the subject.

Read Culture Warrior by Bill O'Reilly. He covers this issue extensively.

He's not a nutcase just because he became religious. I know a lot of level headed believers. The thing is... Kirk became a really really FANATICAL believer. He's the "preaching on national television every day, proselytizing to everyone who breathes in his direction, singing praises to Jesus in his sleep" kind of wonky religious person.

What's with the whole "I'm going to play the victim, poor me" interjection at the end of your details? I hadn't intended to curse you and I still don't. You probably shouldn't play the persecution card until someone actually persecutes you.

Oh, you poor, poor persecuted soul!! How I pity you, because you feel everyone is attacking you!!

Listen up. cameron appears on a video with a banana, saying that the banana is proof that God designed bananas to fit into the human hand. It is so embarrassingly stupid, most inteligent Christians want nothing to do with the video or the claims in it. Except for you. Whats that say about you?
